Asaase Radio is the new station in Ghana's capital, Accra. It becomes the latest addition to Accra’s growing radio ecosystem.
The station is operating on 99.5 MHz on the frequency modulation band. Asaase Radio is currently testing transmission, started few weeks ago. The station will operate under the tagline “The Voice Of Our Land”. Click to listen LiVE online
Asaase Radio is run by owners of the Daily Statesman newspaper, which has Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko as the frontman. It is set to open Mic on June 14 at 7pm. Asaase Radio is available online at www.asaaseradio.com. Check out the studios and premises of Accra's new baby, Asaase Radio.
Accra currently has about 54 radio stations spread across commercial, community, campus and foreign stations. Out of the 54, Radio Gold and Montie FM which were operating on 90.5 MHz and 100.1 MHz, respectively, have been shutdown by NCA for regulatory reasons.
